Flourish: Gallery show of 50 Artworks inspired by our Gardens!

July 25 – August 30, 2014
Artist Reception: Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 2pm-4pm

Brings together a bouquet of textiles, ceramics, photography, and mixed media works that will delight the eye and tantalize the senses.

Whether it is grandma’s garden, a desert landscape or a patch of green grass, our gardens enrich our lives with a certain serenity and calmness. A beautiful garden can whisk us away to another place and time and tantalize us with its fragrance. This exhibition will feature artworks by Arizona artists focusing on natural, floral, and botanical artworks. Heather Coen is one of featured artists in this prestigious show!

Paint the Wild

Looking down from the south rim of the Grand Canyon takes a long view of the deep canyon below.

The Grand Canyon is a very difficult place to paint or so I’ve been told. However I feel that looking down is very similar to looking up to something and just takes a little more planning. Thus, Grand Canyon 7 was born! It will be available at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park show starting on August 1st. Please read the above posts for more information!
