01 Aug Plein Air Work on Display at Boyce Thompson and Vision Galleries
It’s been a very busy week as the two shows are now up and running. My solo art show at Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, AZ features my plein air endeavors. There are 28 masterpieces included and a number of prints, greeting cards and mugs available. For more information on the show go to:

More plein air work is also available at the Vision’s Gallery in Old Town Chandler, AZ. 10 E. Chicago Street (480-782-2695) until August 29th. Two pieces are prominently displayed at the very front of the gallery.
Fortunately, the word is out! Fortunately for me many smaller publications have picked up the story about my artwork at Boyce Thompson. Pastels and Oil paintings dominate the show.

Not having enough time to paint is a major concern of mine. As I age, I find it harder and harder to be motived at night. I’m still rambling along in the mornings but between my family responsibilities and a disabled husband my paint time is so very limited. This week I managed to finish the first painting in the “Beautiful Waters” series. I took a painting out of a seascape and decided to do a series. Many years ago I promised myself I would paint the California coast and went on many plein air adventures. However, the field sketches remained in my notebooks for many years. This particular place near Point Lobos on the California Coast is a favorite. “Azure Cove” 18 by 24 Gallery Wrap.
